Love these shorts. I get compliments on the scalloped hem all the time! Be aware though – Lilly Pulitzer has some serious vanity sizing. I’m 5’4″, 120lb, and I had to get the 00. Great length, though – not too long that it looks odd but not super short.

These are beautiful shorts. I am not sure I am keeping them though. In my opinion they run small. They are a bit snug, but I am also working on losing some baby weight. For now I am keeping the tags on. We will see if I am ready to wear them by the time my husband and I go to Hawaii. I love Lilly clothing, but thing you need to understand is that if you have a slender build you may have to size down, if you have a curvy build you may need to size up. I am curvy, so I am a bit disappointed. I already sized up from my usual size 8 to a 10. I don’t want to wear them now, and then not be able to down the road.

I love the buttercups. They’re my favorite Lilly short. I’m 5’10”, so they’re a great length while still being so cute. I got white so it will go with everything. You can see the pockets a little through the shorts, but it’s not horrible! Doesnt make time love them less! Bring it on, summer!

Review is specific for the navy shorts. I ordered the hot pink ones and was so thrilled with the quality, fit and style that I ordered the navy buttercup shirts. Terrible! The fabric is completely different in terms of quality and feel and the sizing is way off- at least a size smaller than what the pink ones I have are. Sending back. Too bad- so cute.

Cute shorts!! The scallop edges give a pair of basic shorts a nice touch. The textured fabric is something a little dressier as well. The length is perfect. I feel they fit true to size (5’3, 137 lbs and I ordered a sizer 8)

I ordered the white pair and they will be easy to dress up or down. I agree with a previous review that the pockets can be seen through the shorts but it doesn’t bother me. I suppose if the fabric were thicker they might be a bit heavy for summer. Regardless they will look great with lots of tops–and I love the length–not too short and not too long. They fit tts. So cute I think I need the navy pair too.

This is specific to the navy blue shorts. I got the white in a size 8 and it is a perfect fit. The navy in size 8, however, fits at least a size smaller (more like a 6). So, go up a size if you get the navy color.

Order down several sizes! These run large in the waist. I could take the size 0 on and off without even unbuttoning them with a waist of 25 1/2 inches. I’ve never seen a size 0 fit so poorly. The fabric is not see through. That’s nice. The scalloped edge is a unique and sweet detail. I’m hoping the 00 will be significantly smaller in the middle as I would love to keep and enjoy a pair.

Size is true Lilly sizing. I’m curvy, pear shaped, 135 lbs, and ordered my usual size 6. Style and cut is adorable. Very comfortable and not too short. Returning because the white are COMPLETELY see through. Only buy if you plan on wearing a nude thong or nothing at all underneath! I’m ordering the navy instead.

I really do like the shorts, The legs are a bit big but I suppose that’s just because of my shape. They’re a little stiff when you first get them but after washing them and wearing them they relax a bit and look very nice with a lot of different tops. You can dress these up with some nice wedges or dress these down with flats.
