I ordered these shorts to play golf in. They are not made of the usual Lilly polished cotton. These are a thick stretchy material and fit tight. I would equate it to a fancy bike short fit. Needless to say this was not the look I was after. I ordered in a sz 4 and a 6. The sz 4 fit everywhere just bike short style. The 6 basically fit almost the same exact way only the waist band was considerably larger and gapped. These were not for me.
