Was so happy that Zappos could overnight this to me and anticipated taking it on a last-minute vacay. However, upon opening the box, I was a bit surprised by the neon pink thread. It was just a bit too much – down the front, down the sleeve, and added on the belt. The fabric is fairly heavy feeling…not necessarily breathable for heat. I bought a 6 since it appears to be a generous cut. I typically wear a 6/8, but followed the size chart based on my 36DD. I don’t know if I could have done a size 4 with the chest, but the 6 was definitely too big through the hips (for someone who would typically lean more towards an 8 in shorts at the moment). After tying the belt, it created folds of extra fabric on the hips…something I don’t need. I tried it on twice because I really wanted to like it and have something a bit different than usual, but the glaring neon pink thread was too much for me. It’s a really neat dress, but was just a bit too much for my personality.
