   Fun shift dress; very comfortable. Clingy, but in the right places. I love the gold button details on the sleeves and shoulders. Really great dress, and I look forward to wearing it in the summer with the UPF 50+.

   I usually wear a medium in the Marlowe dress but sized up to a large in this dress because the material is more clingy. The large is perfect and the dress is very flattering!

   Like the Sophie dress but be aware that it does fit more snuggly that most other Lilly cotton dresses. I am a standard small in Lilly, but this was a little more snug that what I wanted, especially for work, and if you’re concerned about seeing underwear lines, etc. It pulled a bit across my chest too, but I am a little bigger there. Fabric is definitely more stretchy that other Lilly cotton dresses I own. Super comfy, but just a little small for me overall, and I don’t think I’d like the look of a medium on me.

    Perfect. Drapes beautifully and looks very polished. Can be dressed up or down. Length is perfect. Modest and elegant look. I love the gold hardware detailing, which makes it more than just “another black dress”. A dress every woman should own!

    I’m a Lilly fan, and though I love their prints, I find the solids are working better for me as I get older. I’m normally a 4/small, but I sized up to a Medium in this one and glad I did!

    This dress looks and feels cheap. Also the hips were cut very slim. If you have no hips it might look fine but it looks very odd on me, and I’m pretty thin.
    I really wanted it to be a closet staple…got to keep looking I guess.

    Material is soft snd very thin. It hangs oddly from the shoulders and looks more like a loose fitting long tshirt. I returned and would no recommend

    the dress feels more like a t shirt and its very roomy in a way, fits me longer than the model in the picture and not as fitted but maybe is an issue with sizing or that I need more hips/butt. Not sure is worth the price it could be a pijama if it wasn’t for the gold details. Comfortable though, I still decided to keep it but I regret spending so much on it.

    My husband said I look like a flight attendant in this dress. But my bigger issue is the quality of Zappos products lately. I keep ordering things and receiving people’s wadded and damaged returns as my original product. This dress was balled up in a bag with no stickers or paperwork, with the tags clearly reattached. It’s a total turn-off to pay over $100 for a simple shirt dress only to have it arrive like this. I’m returning. Maybe you’ll get my return as your next order.

    Good fit but poor quality. I washed it once on gentle and hung to dry and now feels like thin cotton and is pilling in multiple areas after 2 wears. Very disappointed with the quality.

    I am 5’7 140lbs, usually a small in Lily dresses. This dress was extremely clingy for a small. I am large busted with broader shoulders. This dress was not only tight in the bust, but also snug through the tummy and hips. I have a flat tummy and narrow hips. I would recommend sizing up if you have curves. Otherwise a beautiful classic dress.
