I ordered the xs based on some reviews iI had read, but they were just a tad too tight. I just returned them and reordered them in a small which I hope fits because they are really cute on!

These shorts fit true to size compared to other Lilly shorts. These are lower rise which I was not a fan of. Plus they are 5 inch inseam which was too long for me. I’m used to wearing the dahlia shorts which are a bit shorter.

These were true too size and I really did love them. They were just a little to short for me and a little low at the front waist band. Personal preference –

These shorts are very cute and comfortable. I am 5’6 and about 126 lbs and the size small fits me. I washed them in cold water with Dreft and hung them to dry and they did not shrink. The colors so far have remained vibrant after a few washings. The 5 inch inseam is a great look for not being too short but still being cute. The only reason I didn’t give 5 starts in all 3 categories is that the crotch is just a bit shorter than I’d like so I wear them a bit lower on my hips, but they are stretchy so they aren’t uncomfortable; and my legs are a bit skinny so I’d prefer the shorts to be just a smidge narrower through the legs. This is a problem I have with all brands of shorts, so it’s not just these shorts. I have a hard time finding shorts that look cute and that are comfortable. Overall, though, I like these enough that I have purchased 3 different colors in this style. One tip I have is that I’ve had a hard time finding coordinating tops in the Lilly brand (I have found their t-shirts to be poor quality and unflattering) so I purchased my coordinating tops at Talbot’s. They have some summer tops this season that coordinate perfectly with these shorts in watermelon, summer mint and biscayne blue.

The shorts are not sized properly. The small fits like a medium and xsmall fits as it should.
Fabric is soft. Patterns are bright. Super cute but returned.

This is my favorite style of Lilly shorts, I easily have 15+ pair. This particular pair runs just a bit smaller than my other shorts in this style – but I love that this print is so different from any other pair I have.

These short are my favorite! The colors are vivid and they wash well. I just hang them outside to dry and they looked like they’ve been pressed. I wear them low rise so I bought a medium. A bit too roomy but I like the way they fit on my hips. The pockets are perfect.
